The STEMSiL platform

Welcome to the STEMSiL platform! The platform serves as the place where 3 of the main tools of the STEMSiL project are hosted: 1) the STEM glossary, 2) the STEMSiL Handbook, and 3) interviews with Deaf experts from across Europe.

These tools are designed for use by teachers of Deaf students of all grades, interpreters, parents of Deaf students, and the students themselves. The goal is to provide valuable resources for the education and empowerment of Deaf students in STEM and the sciences in general.

The tools were designed and developed based on data and information collected in collaboration with Deaf schools from the countries of the project consortium. The platform is also designed to allow easy updating and the addition of new material by the project partners, even after the project’s completion.
